The Invisalign Treatment Process
Hog's Back Dental Centre offers Invisalign clear aligners as a convenient treatment process for straightening your smile with less hassle than traditional braces.
Step 1
Book Your First
Consultation
We will start with an examination of your smile to find out if Invisalign is right for you. After that, a digital scanner will create a 3D image of your current smile and what it could look like after Invisalign treatment.
Step 2
Develop a Custom
Treatment Plan
Depending on the results of your first appointment, we will craft a precise Invisalign treatment plan for you, along with timelines. Your plan will map out the movements of your teeth between sets of aligners.
Step 3
Start Your Custom
Treatment Plan
We will create a customized series of clear aligners fitted for your smile. You will have to wear them each day, removing them to eat, drink, floss and brush. As you treatment continues, your teeth will begin to shift.
Step 4
Switch Your Aligners
Every Two Weeks
Every two weeks or so, you will switch from one set of clear aligners to the next. You will also have a brief checkup with our team approximately every 6 weeks to review your treatment's progress.
Step 5
Maintain Your
Brand New Smile
At the end of your treatment, there is the exciting day of finally achieving your new smile! During your last appointment, we will talk about next steps as well as prescribe a retainer to maintain your smile's new look.
