What can I expect during my first visit to your dental office?
At Hog's Back Dental Centre in Ottawa, you and your family come first! Whether you are looking for cosmetic options, like implants, or need a filling for a cavity, we provide a wide range of dental services. You can expect a warm and friendly environment from the moment you walk through our front doors.

How long will my first dentist appointment take?
Your first appointment will take about 60 minutes for new patients. We will ask you to fill out new patient forms so we can familiarize ourselves with your oral health history. We want to have all the necessary information to create a customized dental plan for you.
During your first appointment, we will:
- Perform a complete oral exam including x-rays to assess anything that cannot be seen with the naked eye
- Create a comprehensive and personalized dental health plan
- Review your dental history, including concerns you have regarding your oral health.

We ask that all new patients fill out our new patient form in order to provide you with safe and appropriate dental care. All information is strictly confidential. A member of our team will be able to assist you with the completion of this form.
